Beer for Me and My Horse!

Al Swanson, the proprietor in 1942, allowed cowboys to ride up to the bar and buy beer for both rider and mount. Then both would ride out the back door to the alley … hopefully leaving no calling cards. One of these riders was Joe Lowndes, once a member of the “Wild Bunch.”
